Teacher Training Partners - Joshua Alamu

We are delighted to announce that as part of our teacher training programme, we will be joined by highly acclaimed vocal coach and Vocal Tubes founder Joshua Alamu. Joshua will be joining our team to provide workshops and masterclasses to our trainee teachers.

Joshua has firmly cemented a name for himself as one of the most sought after and highly respected Singing Instructors (Vocology/voice rehabilitation and habilitation/technical development) and Vocal Style (vocal nuance/vocal musicianship development) Coaches in London.

Josh has also worked on hugely popular TV Shows such as: ‘The Voice’, ‘Little Mix The Search’ and ITV’s ‘Pop Idol’. He has been a vocal coach on BBC’s ‘Just The Two of Us’, Channel 4′s ‘Musicool’ for T4, BBC 1’s ‘Dance-X’ (where we saw him take to our TV screens as a Judge with Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli) and Channel 5’s ‘Don’t stop believing’. 

He currently works closely with many of his clients, preparing for their live guest performances for Shows such as The X Factor, The Alan Carr show, Good morning Britain, The One Show, Jingle Bell Ball, V festival, The Brit Awards and many more.

In previous years, Josh has also appeared as guest vocal coach on TV shows and Entertainment News specials such as, ‘Trinny and Susanna Undress the Nation’ and ‘Blue Peter’.

As a passionate, dedicated and down to earth individual, no job is ever too big or too small for Joshua. His intricate knowledge and understanding of how the voice works from voice warm ups to live/studio performances is exceptional. All that matters is the voice, the music and the heart.

As well as working as an acclaimed vocal coach, Joshua is also founder of the extremely popular ‘Vocal Tubes’. An excellent water resistant voice training tool widely used in the industry for vocal care, vocal conditioning and vocal development.
