Sophie is a Manchester born singer and actress. After studying Musical Theatre at Pendleton College in Salford, Sophie went on to train at Guildford School of Acting and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre in 2010, where she was awarded the Saskia Carter Award for her contribution to the school.

Sophie has since graced the stages of the West End and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as the most luxurious cruise ships around the world. Sophie has spent over a decade working on cruise ships as a Cruise Director and Singer, most recently represented by Zoe Tyler International as a guest entertainer for Regent Cruises, Seabourn Cruises, Cunard, Oceania Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Line, performing her one-woman headline shows. During the pandemic, Sophie co-founded West End Workshops Live, offering online workshops with industry professionals.

Sophie began teaching singing and acting in 2011, from early stages to industry professionals. In 2022, Sophie became an accredited Vocal Balance vocal coach and has since been teaching 1-to-1 lessons online and in person in her hometown of Manchester, as well as group musical theatre classes. As a Vocal Health First Aider, Sophie ensures you benefit from safe singing techniques during lessons and can assess your vocal health concerns. As a Mental Health First Aider, Sophie supports you as much as possible inside and outside of the lessons, recognising the moments of vulnerability that can come with the arts and creativity.
