Louisa is an actor, singer and multi-instrumentalist from the rolling hills of Devon. Her performance career has taken her from the world of musical theatre, to Shakespeare, to West End shows and TV. Credits include Fame (West End/UK Tour); Fisherman’s Friends the Musical (UK/Canada Tour); King Lear (Shakespeare’s Globe); Future Conditional, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Old Vic); Call the Midwife (BBC). An associate of the National Youth Theatre of GB, Louisa is passionate about working with others to help reach their singing goals. She has over ten years of teaching experience, including one on one, in schools and as a visiting artist for singing workshops. Clients she coaches include professional performers, professionally trained actors who want to strengthen their singing skills, and aspiring performers preparing for drama school auditions. Louisa also works as a musical director and composer, helping casts develop sustainable and sound vocal technique - no matter what level of singing experience. Institutions she has worked at include Arts Ed, BBC Studios, Dulwich College, the Roundhouse, Eton College and the National Youth Theatre. Louisa’s lessons are relaxed, enjoyable, with a focus on building confidence through singing, and fine-tuning technique to bring freedom of expression to the voice.
